Birds Of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020)
In this film of the DC Extended Universe, the newly single Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie, The Wolf of Wall Street, Focus, I, Tonya) had everything the audience can ever ask for in her own solo outing. She has charisma, knows how to break a fourth wall and she surprises all DC comic book fans like no one else.
Birds of Prey is also a follow up film to 2016’s Suicide Squad, where Margot debut her role as the popular iconic DC character.
I also admire Ewan McGregor’s (Trainspotting, Star Wars prequel trilogy) as the crime boss, Black Mask, based on the DC comics.
The film has non-stop action, great comedy and amazing references based on the DC Universe.
It has great casting choices like Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollet-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco, Ali Wong and Ewan McGregor.
My score out of 10 for this film is 9.1/10.
